Jakarta, Dec. 14 -- Indonesia's Alwi Farhan won the men's singles gold medal at the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in Thailand on Sunday, defeating compatriot Moh Zaki Ubaidillah in an all-Indonesian final in Bangkok.

Farhan prevailed 13-21, 21-8, 21-12 at Thammasat University's Rangsit Campus, sealing gold for Indonesia after rallying from the loss of the opening game.

Ubaidillah took the first game as Farhan struggled to counter his aggressive attacks. Farhan regrouped in the second, tightening his defense and playing patiently to level the match.

In the decider, Ubaidillah lost momentum, allowing Farhan to dictate play and close out the contest.
