Jakarta, Feb. 18 -- Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian stated that all national roads in three flood- and landslide-hit provinces of Sumatra-Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra-have returned to full operation.

"National roads in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra are now 100 percent operational," he announced during a coordination meeting on Sumatra post-disaster recovery in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Karnavian-concurrently serving as Chair of the Sumatra Post-Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Acceleration Task Force-added that repairs to regional roads in the three provinces have also shown rapid progress.
