Padang, West Sumatra, Dec. 3 -- All areas affected by recent floods and landslides in West Sumatra are now accessible, Governor Mahyeldi said on Wednesday.

"According to the Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), all areas in West Sumatra are now accessible," he said.

Mahyeldi thanked all parties for supporting the disaster response and said restored access would help accelerate aid distribution to affected residents.

The province continues to receive assistance for victims, including basic necessities, blankets, foam mattresses, and other supplies valued at Rp244 million (around US$15,000).

International NGO Al-Khair Foundation also delivered aid worth Rp600 million as a show of solidarity with disaster survivors.
