Jakarta, Feb. 25 -- Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra highlighted the importance of harmonizing central and regional policies for enforcing legal principles and upholding human rights.
At the retreat for regional leaders at the Military Academy, Magelang, Central Java, on Monday, he noted that legal issues in regions are quite diverse as they include constitutional law and state administration.
"Resolving these issues is the responsibility of structural apparatus, including the police and the prosecutor's office," he said, as confirmed here on Tuesday.
