Jakarta, Dec. 13 -- Indonesian Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya highlighted the vast potential of the advertising industry to significantly contribute to the growth of the national creative economy through its various sub-sectors.
In a statement released on Saturday, Harsya pointed out that the advertising industry has delivered tangible impacts across multiple creative economy sub-sectors, notably television, radio, graphic design, music, film, animation, performing arts, and culinary.
"Advertisements wrap economic values with stories; they transform commodities into lifestyles. It is the advertising industry that drives domestic consumption chains, serving as the backbone of Indonesia's economy," the minister stated.
