Denpasar, Bali, Sept. 27 -- A total of 8,059 COVID-19 cases, or 95.35 percent of confirmed infections, in Bali province were the result of local transmission, according to the local task force for COVID-19.

"As of today, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bali province have reached 8,452," the day-to-day chief of the task force and secretary of the Bali provincial administration, Dewa Made Indra, said here on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the remaining 305 patients, or 3.61 percent of the total cases, had a history of international travel, and 88 or 1.04 percent patients had a history of domestic travel, he informed.
