Jakarta, July 2 -- Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes (Jampidum) at the Attorney General's Office, Asep Nana Mulyana, firmly stated that there will be no safe haven or lenient treatment for drug offenders in Indonesia.
He emphasized that drug abuse is a serious crime, and the government is committed to eradicating narcotics from upstream to downstream.
"As a law enforcement agency, we at the Attorney General's Office are fully committed to combating the distribution of narcotics," Asep said during a press conference on drug evidence destruction in Jakarta on Wednesday.
