Jakarta, Jan. 6 -- The Health Ministry reported that a total of 3,719 health workers have volunteered to provide medical services to people displaced by floods and landslides in Aceh.

Head of the ministry's Center for Health Crisis Response, Agus Jamaludin, said on Tuesday that the volunteers have been deployed across various health facilities, including 309 public health centers, 23 state-owned hospitals, and 377 health posts covering 1,008 shelters.

"We are sending all available healthcare personnel, and continuously monitor the distribution of volunteers to ensure that aid can reach all places, according to their respective needs," Jamaludin said.
