Indonesia, July 22 -- The government of East Java's Banyuwangi district has announced that this year's edition of international cycling race Tour de Banyuwangi Ijen (TdBI) will feature cyclists from 24 countries.

"We consistently hold the international cycling race Tour de Ijen, which, this year, marks its 10th edition. The event is part of Banyuwangi's efforts to advance cycling sports in Indonesia," Banyuwangi district head Ipuk Fiestiandani said here on Tuesday.

The event, which is included in the calendar of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), will take place from July 28 to 31, 2025.

During the race, which will have four etapes or stages, cyclists will cover 593 kilometers through Banyuwangi's scenic natural landscapes.
