Jakarta, March 10 -- The Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) Ministry has taken down 1,352,401 pieces of digital content linked to pornography and online gambling between October 20, 2024, and March 8, 2025.

Komdigi Ministry's Director General of Digital Space Supervision, Alexander Sabar, credited the Indonesian public for this achievement, saying that citizens have been actively submitting reports of inappropriate digital content through the aduankonten.id portal.

"Each report we receive has enabled us to act more swiftly and effectively in cracking down on negative content," he noted in the ministry's release, as cited in Jakarta on Monday.

Sabar revealed that his team had handled 233,552 pieces of pornographic content, with...
