India, March 21 -- China's decision to block the designation of Azhar as a global terrorist is a clear indication of its support to Pakistan. We might be unsure of China's real intentions, but we cannot overlook the fact that China's interest only lies in profit-making.
China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is a collection of infrastructure projects that are currently under construction throughout Pakistan. Originally valued at $46 billion, the value of CPEC projects are worth $62 billion as of 2017. Creating a long route through Pakistan will help China in trade with gulf countries and South African countries, hence, it becomes easy for China to back up its 'pet' Pakistan.
