India, Oct. 21 -- Dr. Abhijit Banerjee is one of the three individuals to have won the 2019 Nobel in Economic Sciences for his work on developmental economics. More specifically, his work is about breaking down the larger problem of poverty into smaller, more specific, more manageable questions, within smaller contexts and using clinical trial methods to help achieve better outcomes.
