New Delhi, July 13 -- Former Indian cricketer Yashpal Sharma, popularly known as the Crisis Man of Team India, passed away due to heart attack on Tuesday morning. He breathed his last at the age of 66. Yashpal Sharma was a part of the Team India, which won the World Cup for the first time in 1983. Yashpal, who played 37 Tests and 42 ODIs, was the second highest run-scorer for India in the 1983 World Cup. Yashpal Sharma made his Test debut against England at Lord's in 1979, while playing his last Test match in 1983. Made his ODI debut in 1978 and played his last ODI match in 1985.
