Ethiopia, July 28 -- Addis Ababa, July 28, 2021 (Walta) - The world Food program has announced its Humanitarian Air Service (UNHAS) flight forced to make a crash landing yesterday afternoon in Dire Dawa.

The UN flight which is managed by WFP and operated by its aviation services partner - Abyssinia Flight Services -made the crash landing while transporting passengers between Jigjiga and Dire Dawa.

At the time of the emergency landing the aircraft was carrying four people in total: two humanitarian staff and two crew members.

According the statement released by WFP in relation to the incident, none of the passengers on board the flight has suffered any serious injury.
