Ethiopia, Sept. 30 -- Professor Mesfin Woldemar has passed away.

Professor Mesfin Woldemariam was a well-known scholar who openly criticized the Ethiopian government since the reign of Emperor Haile Selassie.

Professor Mesfin Woldemariam was born in 1922 in Addis Ababa. His biography shows that he took church education in childhood and became deacon before entering modern education.
