Ethiopia, March 20 -- Addis Ababa, March 20, 2024(Addis Walta) The historic bonds of friendship and cooperation between Greece and Ethiopia were reaffirmed during the meeting between the President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou which took place at the presidential mansion, on Tuesday.

Sakellaropoulou emphasized that there is a Greek community in Ethiopia that has had a dynamic presence for many decades, just as Ethiopians live in Greece.

President Sakellaropoulou added that the diaspora has been serving as a bridge that strengthens the bonds of friendship between the countries and cooperation in many areas, especially in the field of culture.
