Ethiopia, Sept. 30 -- Addis Ababa, September 30, 2021 (Walta) - The Sidama State Council has elected Desta Ledamo president of the region.

Desta formerly has been serving the region as president.

The Council has also elected Fantu Kebede as Speaker of Sidama State Council.
