Excitel Broadband added 25,000 new connections during the first phase of Lockdown

India, May 15 -- Excitel Broadband empowers 25,000 #StayHome warriors during the first phase of Lockdown across India. This was by far the most new connections by an ISP during the period of COVID 19 restrictions and challenges.

Excitel witnessed a 30% increase in demand for new connections and a 60% increase in per day data consumption for the period of the First week March - Second Week of April. From an average 9-10 GB per day consumption before the lockdown, demand peaked at 17-18 GB per day data consumption on Excitel networks.
