Beijing, March 20 -- Vietnamese students have won 20 awards, including five first prizes, a second prize and some third prizes, at a video contest held in China for students from South Asian countries.

Notably, Dang Thi Thao Tien, a student from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, was granted a scholarship for master's at Tianjin Normal University thanks to her video products.

The contest themed "Me and China" was organised by the Ministry of Education of China, the ASEAN-China Centre, and several universities in Beijing, Hebei province, and Tianjin city.

This contest, the second edition, saw 102 entries from Vietnamese students.
