Bac Lieu, March 7 -- The Vietnam Salt Craft Festival 2025 opened in the Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on March 6, aiming to honour the century-old craft and enhance the value of Vietnamese salt. The event is organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the provincial People's Committee. Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasised salt is not only an essential product but also cultural heritage and plays an importance role in the economy and various fields.
