Hanoi, March 3 -- Vietnam's top female badminton player Nguyen Thuy Linh lost to Singapore's Yeo Jia Min in the YONEX German Open 2025 final on March 2, finishing as runner-up at the tournament for the second consecutive year.

Yeo, ranked 13th in the world and a former world number one in the junior rankings, was the top seed at the 2025 tournament. In their previous three encounters, Yeo won twice and lost once to Linh.
