Sydney, Feb. 2 -- The Vietnamese Consulate General in Sydney welcomed the overseas Vietnamese (OV) community to its "Community Tet - Spring from the Homeland" event on February 1, an intimate cultural reunion that fostered emotional and communal links with their beloved homeland.

In his opening remarks, Consul General Nguyen Thanh Tung spoke with pride of Vietnam's success in maintaining socio-political stability, social security and safety, and a solid foundation for development despite lingering global uncertainties last year.
