Vietnamese Ambassador presents credentials to UNESCO Director-General
Paris (VNA), Feb. 8 -- Ambassador Nguyen Thi Van Anh , Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation ( UNESCO ), presented her credentials to UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay at the organisation's headquarters in Paris, France on February 7.
At the ceremony, Ambassador Anh emphasised that Vietnam appreciated multilateralism, the role and contribution of the United Nations and UNESCO in seeking solutions to increasing global challenges, thereby contributing to maintaining peace and security, and promoting sustainable development in the world.
