Havana, Sept. 22 -- A delegation of the Vietnam People's Army Newspaper, led by its Editor-in-Chief Major General Doan Xuan Bo, paid a working visit to Cuba from September 12-20 to strengthen cooperation and share professional experience with local media organisations.

During the visit, the delegation held discussions with the Union of Journalists of Cuba (UPEC), Ideas Multimedios, and Prensa Latina news agency. Both sides emphasised that the press plays a pioneering role on the ideological front, with each news outlet carrying the responsibility of contributing to national development and social progress.
