Hanoi, Feb. 21 -- Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Theory Council and President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) Nguyen Xuan Thang held a meeting with Chen Gang, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Secretary of the CPC Committee of China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Ha Long city of northern Quang Ninh province on February 20.

The meeting was held on the occasion of Chen's visit to Vietnam for a New Year meeting among secretaries of the Party committees of Vietnam's Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang, and Ha Giang provinces and China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
