Hanoi, Jan. 5 -- The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has issued the national action plan on combating desertification through 2030, with a vision to 2050. The plan reflects Vietnam's sense of responsibility and efforts to contribute to the implementation of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) and fulfil the international commitments to which the country is a party.
