Buenos Aires, March 26 -- Vietnamese Ambassador to Chile Nguyen Viet Cuong has paid a working visit to Antofagasta region in northern Chile to enhance cooperation between Vietnam and the region.
Antofagasta is one of the most developed areas in Chile, serving as a centre for industry, scientific research, and education. In addition to its strengths in mining, the region is famous for world-class astronomical facilities such as the Paranal Observatory and ALMA, and prestigious educational institutions like the University of Antofagasta and the Catholic University of the North.
