New York, Feb. 10 -- Social development and social equity are central pillars of Vietnam's national development strategy, with improvements in people's living standards serving as a key measure of growth, Minister Counsellor Nguyen Hoang Nguyen, Deputy Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the UN, has affirmed.
