Hanoi, July 5 -- Vietnam's total import-export turnover reached 432.03 billion USD in the first half of 2025, marking a 16.1% increase compared to the same period last year, the National Statistics Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Finance reported on July 5.
The country's export earnings grew by 14.4%, while its import turnover rose by 17.9%, resulting in a trade surplus of 7.63 billion USD.
In June alone, the export turnover surged by 16.3% year-on-year. The domestic economic sector saw a decrease of 5.7%, while the foreign-invested sector, including crude oil, surged by 24.4%.
The export value in the January - June period stood at 219.83 billion USD, up 14.4% year-on-year. The domestic sector contributed 58.28 billion USD (up 9.4%)...
