Hanoi, June 6 -- The total foreign trade hit 355.79 billion USD in the first five months of 2025, up 15.7% year-on-year, according to the Department of Customs under the Ministry of Finance. The country's export earnings grew by 14% while its imports rose by 17.5%, resulting in a trade surplus of 4.67 billion USD during the period. In May alone, the total trade revenue reached 39.6 billion USD, up 5.7% compared to the previous month and 17% from a year earlier.
