Hanoi, May 10 -- Vietnam's canoeing team made a remarkable impact at the 2025 Asian Canoe Confederation Canoe Sprint Asian Championships, securing one gold, four silver, and one bronze medals.
The results placed the team third in the overall standings.
The gold medal came in the mixed men's and women's C4 event, where four Vietnamese paddlers - Pham Hong Quan, Bui Thi Yen, Ma Thi Thuy, and Hien Nam - outperformed strong competitors from China and Kazakhstan to claim a decisive victory.
