Moscow, Sept. 19 -- Vietnam is forecast to climb to the third place among the top five destinations attracting Russian tourists in the upcoming 2025/26 winter season, according to Taras Kobishchanov, Vice President of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) and Director General of Russian Express Holding.

Speaking to journalists at the annual "Trevolution" conference, Kobishchanov forecast that Egypt will continue to dominate the outbound tourism market in terms of tour sales this winter. Thailand is expected to retain its second place, though it will face strong competition from Vietnam amid signs of slowing growth.
