Hanoi, July 16 -- Vietnam Railways (VNR) has launched nationwide ticket sales for the Gia Lam - Nanning international passenger train service, starting July 16.

With the move, passengers are no longer required to buy tickets in person at select stations such as Hanoi, Gia Lam, Bac Giang, and Dong Dang.

The international train, MR1/T8702/Z6, departs daily at 9:20 pm from Gia Lam Station (Hanoi) and makes stops in China at Pingxiang, Chongzuo, and its final destination, Nanning.

On Tuesdays and Fridays, the service is extended to key Chinese destinations, including Guilin North, Hengyang, Changsha, Zhengzhou, and the terminal station, Beijing West.
