Hanoi, Oct. 13 -- Vietnam's football team drew 1-1 with India in a friendly match at Thien Truong Stadium in the northern province of Nam Dinh on October 12.

Although the host team created numerous scoring opportunities, they were unable to secure a victory.

The match began with Vietnam taking control as the players continuously pressed forward and dominated possession. Right from the opening minutes, Van Toan and Van Quyet created several opportunities, putting India's defense under intense pressure. After numerous efforts, Bui Vi Hao opened the scoring in the 38th minute with a sharp finish.
