Binh Duong, March 20 -- The Vietnam national football team, led by head coach Kim Sang-sik, put on an impressive display, securing a 2-1 victory over Cambodia in a friendly match at Go Dau Stadium, southern Binh Duong province on March 19.

Right from the start, Vietnam dictated the pace of the game, dominating possession and launching relentless attacks to put pressure on Cambodia's defence. Meanwhile, the visitors opted for a defensive-counterattacking strategy, relying on aerial plays and quick transitions led by their naturalised players.
