Hanoi, Oct. 9 -- Vietnam Airlines will inaugurate its direct service connecting Hanoi and Cebu, the Philippines, on December 1, 2025, operating three flights per week with Airbus A321 aircraft. This marks the national flag carrier's first direct route to Cebu and a further step in expanding its Southeast Asian network. Deputy CEO Dang Anh Tuan said the new service demonstrates the airline's commitment to strengthening regional air connectivity and offering passengers greater convenience. He noted the Hanoi-Cebu route will help foster tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between Vietnam and the Philippines, while bringing passengers a seamless travel experience.
