Hanoi, Sept. 2 -- The Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) have agreed to continue enhancing exchanges of experience and foster practical, effective cooperation within international organisations and multilateral forums.

The consensus was reached during a Hanoi meeting on September 2 between Politburo member and standing member of the CPV Central Committee's Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and Vice President of the PSUV Jesus Faria, who led a PSUV and Venezuelan Government delegation to the ceremony celebrating the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2025).
