Vientiane, May 29 -- A delegation from the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) visited Laos from May 26-29 to accelerate a potassium salt mining and processing plant in the central province of Khammouane, a flagship project symbolising the deepening partnership between the two nations.

During a working session with Lao Deputy Prime Minister Saleumxay Kommasith and relevant ministries and agencies in Vientiane on May 27, Vinachem Chairman Phung Quang Hiep detailed the project's progress and urged the Lao Government to facilitate coordination among its agencies to address obstacles.
