Can Tho, July 6 -- The closing ceremony of the 6th Vietcombank Mekong Delta International Marathon took place on July 6 in Vi Tan ward, Can Tho city.

The 2025 edition featured four distances: 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km, with race routes passing through Vi Thanh and Vi Tan wards and Hoa Luu commune.

In the 5km race, Nguyen Van Khang of Vietnam claimed first place in the men's category with a time of 16 minutes and 31 seconds, while Nguyen Thi Kim Cuong won the women's race in 19 minutes and 39 seconds.

The 10km event saw Vietnamese Do Duy Thang and Le Thi Kim Phuong take first places in the men's and women's categories, with a time of 34 minutes and 22 seconds, and 42 minutes and 37 seconds, respectively.
