Hanoi, Jan. 26 -- General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam and Party General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith co-chaired a briefing session in Hanoi on January 26 to inform on the outcomes of the 12th National Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP).

In his address, Thongloun Sisoulith described the 12th Party Congress as a landmark political event that upheld and creatively advanced the LPRP's reform-oriented line.
