Three more imported COVID-19 cases confirmed, tally reaches 1,144
Hanoi (VNA), Oct. 21 -- Vietnam recorded three new imported COVID-19 cases on October 21, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
Among the new patients, all Vietnamese and quarantined upon their arrival, a 46-year-old woman returned from Russia on Flight VN5062 that landed at Van Don International Airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh on October 16.
Meanwhile, a 33-year-old woman and her 8-month-old son were repatriated from Angola on Flight VN8 on October 20 and also entered the country via the Van Don Airport.
The number of COVID-19 cases in Vietnam currently stands at 1,144, including 691 domestically infected ones.
