Hanoi, June 20 -- Throughout Vietnam's revolutionary journey, the press has stood side by side with the people, playing a vital role in the pursuit of national independence, the building of socialism, and the advancement of national prosperity, said Vinod Moonesinghe, Director of the Marxist Research Institute of Sri Lanka.
