Thanh Hoa, May 28 -- A memorial and burial ceremony was held on May 27 at Dong Tam international martyrs' cemetery in Ba Thuoc district, the central province of Thanh Hoa, to honour 21 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos.

The ceremony, organised by the provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, armed forces, and local residents, featured floral tributes and incense offerings in remembrance of the martyrs' sacrifices for national liberation, defence, and international solidarity.

The remains were found in Houaphanh province, Laos, by the search and repatriation team of the Thanh Hoa province Military Command during the 2024-2025 dry season. None of the martyrs has ...
