Thanh Hoa, May 12 -- The Party Committee of the central province of Thanh Hoa is urging local authorities to swiftly address obstacles and speed up implementation efforts in order to fulfill the target of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for disadvantaged families by October 2025.

According to the provincial Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, there is a demand for support in building or repairing 15,326 homes across the province. However, to date, only 15 district-level units have reported new construction activity, with just 415 homes initiated. This leaves 4,879 homes yet to be started and 9,299 requiring financial assistance.
