Bangkok, July 25 -- Thailand announced on July 25 morning that it had evacuated more than 100,000 people along its shared border with Cambodia amid escalating tensions in the region. According to Thailand's Ministry of Interior, a total of 100,672 residents from four border provinces had been relocated to designated shelters. A deputy spokesperson of the Thai Ministry of Public Health reported that, as of 21:00 on July 24, 14 people had been confirmed dead and 46 injured in military clashes near the Thailand-Cambodia border. Cambodia has yet to release any official figures on casualties.
