Bangkok, Nov. 12 -- Thailand's Board of Investment (BOI) has approved four new data centre projects worth nearly 100 billion THB (3.1 billion USD), underscoring the country's drive to become a regional hub for hyperscale digital infrastructure.

They include a 7.55 billion THB facility by Telehouse (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Japan's KDDI Corporation; and a 9.09 billion THB facility by Vistas Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China's ZDATA Technologies Co., Ltd. and its Singapore-based unit ZDATA Cloud Technology Pte. Ltd.

The others are a 26.7 billion THB facility by NextGen Data Centre and Cloud Services Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Dubai-based DAMAC Digital; and a 54.9 billion THB facility by Zenith Data Centre and Cloud S...
