Thai Nguyen, Oct. 7 -- The northern province of Thai Nguyen issued an emergency flood warning on October 7 evening as torrential rains triggered rising river levels that exceeded the extremely dangerous thresholds. According to the provincial hydro-meteorological station, within the past 12 hours, major rivers and streams across Thai Nguyen have experienced severe flooding. By 17:00, water levels at several key monitoring stations had already surpassed alarm level 3 (extremely dangerous) and continued to rise rapidly.
