Tay Ninh, Dec. 11 -- A ceremony was held at Xa Mat International Border Gate, the southern province of Tay Ninh, on December 10 to receive the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who laid down their lives in Cambodia during wartime.
The event was organised by Tay Ninh province's Steering Committee for the Search, Collection and Identification of Martyrs' Remains (Steering Committee 515), marking the completion of the first phase of the 25th search-and-collection mission (2025-2026 dry season).
During 34 days of operations in Cambodia (November 6-December 10, 2025), the search teams recovered 180 sets of remains: 16 by Team K70, 140 by Team K71, and 24 by Team K73.
