Vinh Long, Jan. 9 -- The 30MW Sunpro - Ben Tre wind power plant, invested by the Pacifico Energy Vietnam Co., Ltd. - a member of the US-based Pacifico Energy, was inaugurated in Thoi Thuan commune, the southern province of Vinh Long, on January 9. Officially put into commercial operation on December 19 last year, the plant features seven turbines and has a total investment of about 1.6 trillion VND (60.9 million USD). It is expected to generate 89.5GWh per year, enough to supply electricity for about 27,000 households.
