Hanoi, June 12 -- Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on June 11 approved the Ministry of Construction's proposal to grant an air transport business licence to the Sun PhuQuoc Airways Co. Ltd.

The Deputy PM instructed the ministry to take full responsibility for the proposal, proceed with the licensing process in line with regulations, and manage to ensure the safety and efficiency of civil aviation operations.

Earlier, PM Pham Minh Chinh had given in-principle approval to the Sun PhuQuoc Airways project of the Sun PhuQuoc Airways Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of Sun Group.

Under the PM's decision signed on May 20, the project, invested with 2.5 trillion VND (about 98.81 million USD), plans to build a fleet of 31 aircraft by 2030.
